Library Locations Closed for Labor Day

All locations of the Clark County Public Library will be closed Sunday, August 31st and Monday, September 1st due to the Labor Day holiday.  We will re-open at our regularly scheduled times on Tuesday September 2nd.  Fines will not be charged during the period that we are closed.  Book  and AV drops will be available.

Dr. Seuss Fall Family Festival, September 22nd-27th, 2014 at the Main Library

Dr. Seuss ScheduleJoin us at the Main Library for a week-long celebration of characters, creations and all things Seuss.  Participate in one of the following Dr. Seuss activities during the week to be entered into our grand prize drawing for one of three Dr. Seuss gift baskets!

Monday, September 22nd at 7 PM - Dr. Seuss Storytime (ages 3-6) - Come enjoy a Dr. Seuss-filled storytime in the Lenski Program Room with stories, a craft and a song.  Little ones can wear their pjs if they wish!

Tuesday, September 23rd at 3:30 PM - Dr. Seuss Make and Take Crafts (ages 5 and up) - Stop by the Lenski Program Room to make paper and food Dr. Seuss related crafts!

Tuesday, September 23rd at 6 PM - The Real Life World of Dr Seuss with Local Author Tanya Anderson (all ages) - Swing by the Lenski Program Room to learn about the man behind the creative magic, Theodor Geisel (aka Dr Seuss)!  Tanya will have Seuss themed bookmarks to share with participants and copies of her books will be for sale.  Perfect for all ages.
