Join Michelle White from Crystal Clear Science, for a fun, hands-on lesson on the good, the bad and the creepy qualities of insects.  This program offers unique science experiences with live specimens, and promises to be both educational and entertaining!

Bring a friend and your scientific imagination to build a LEGO Skyscraper or Bridge that will be left on display until the next club meeting.

Build a Robot Contest (ages 10 and up) Houston

Beginning June 2nd, children ages 10 and up and invited to build a small-scale robot out of recycled materials to enter for a chance to win a Robotikits 14 in 1 Educational Solar Robot Kit! 

Robot entries must be turned in to the Houston Branch by June 30th.  Library patrons may vote once a day for their favorite robot during the first two weeks of July.  The winner will be announced on Monday, July 14th.  Entries not picked back up by the end of July will be disposed of.  *Relatives of CCPL staff are exempt from the competition.
