In honor of the 150th anniversary month of our 16th President's assassination, come and watch the eye-opening story on the big screen.  Tom Hanks narrates this drama depicting the final days of President Abraham Lincoln before he was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth on April 14th, 1865.  The movie was adapted from the book Killing Lincoln: The Shocking Assassination That Changed America Forever by Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard.

Operation Desert Strike with Retired Wing Commander, Colonel Richard Lohnes (adults and teens) - Houston

Retired Wing Commander of the 178th Fighter Group of the Air National Guard, Colonel Richard Lohnes will speak about his deployment in Iraq during Operation Desert Strike in 1996.  Colonel Lohnes, born in Springfield, OH,  is a 34 year veteran of the United States Air Force and Air National Guard.  32 of his 34 years of service was spent as a fighter pilot and included being an F-16 flying instructor, squadron and group commander, and detachment commander. (adults and teens)
