Topic: Tracing individuals and families using census records and tax lists

While all are welcome to come to one or both sessions, the focus will be as described above for each date.  A sufficient number of laptops will be available for use, or you may choose to bring your own personal device.  You may access Ancestry Plus on your personal device while using the library's Wi-Fi.

eBooks & More for Tablets (adults) - Houston

Learn how to download eBooks, audiobooks and streaming videos from the library to your Apple, Android or Windows tablet.  Don't forget to bring your account and password information (i.e. Apple ID, Amazon account, Microsoft account, etc...).  You will also need your library card number and password.  There are two sessions & locations to choose from.  Registration is required and begins two weeks prior to the class.  Please call the location you wish to attend to register for their class.  Space is limited to 6 adults.

Computer Basics: Computer Safety (adults) - Houston

Learn how to protect your computer and yourself online.  Keyboard & mouse skills required. A Windows 7 laptop can be provided or you are welcome to bring your own Windows 7 laptop or tablet. There are multiple sessions and locations to choose from. Registration is required and begins two weeks prior to each class. Space is limited to 6 adults.
