Meeting Room Policy

January 28th, 2016

The Main Library in downtown Springfield will soon be undergoing some exciting renovations and construction!  In the months to come we’ll have even more meeting rooms, study rooms, study space and areas to engage and be inspired.

Because the Gaier Meeting Room will be part of this renovation, we are not currently accepting bookings for this space.  We do however have meeting rooms at all of our other library locations.  Please call the location you are interested in to inquire about booking your meeting in their room.

Scheduling for meetings at a Branch Library will be handled by the Branch Manager.  Please be aware the dates you are requesting may not be available, so it is necessary to call the desired location to find out room availability.

Enon: (937) 864-2502

Houston: (937) 462-8047

Park : (937) 322-2498

Village: (937) 322-2226

Meeting rooms are available for non-profit public use at all library locations.

All meetings must be scheduled at least one week in advance (for example a meeting scheduled for a Monday must be scheduled no later than the previous Monday) and will be dealt with on a first-come, first-served basis with Library events taking priority.  Requests will be addressed as time allows.

Groups booking the room must fill out an application and sign a user agreement prior to using the meeting rooms.  The Library reserves the right to review any or all applications for space and judge whether or not the applicant fits the policy.
